BGS hurrah!

It is not often that you get praised by a professor.

It is even not often you get praised by a professor for a presentation.

It is hardly impossible that you get praised by a professor twice for presentations.

But I think my BGS group did it for our final presentation.

Presenting with panache and finesse, coupled with solid information and critical analysis, I guess we really wow the crowd and the prof alike with our presentation skills.

I really think our BGS group is one of the best groups around SMU. You guys are great. Really.

Haven't posted for quite some time now.

Everyone's getting a bit short-tempered these days. I think the stress of meeting project deadlines and preparations for presentations are getting to most of us.

I'm glad that most of my projects are over now, save for the BGS presentation and written report. Not too worried about that.

Felt really down yesterday. Probably one of the hardest days I ever had. Thanks for listening to my nonsense pris. And esther as well.

Getting a bit too slack for my own good. I think the slackness is partly attributed to the competitive level in my class. Last sem, I had many competitive people in my class and that inspired me to work hard. Quite glad that last sem's study group is recalling its members and we're gonna start intensive mugging next week!

Buddies

The CEDI guys came over to my house today for a CNY reunion dinner.

It was almost perfect, with almost everyone whom I invited attending. Felt really great to see them again. And although they did eat up almost the whole of my refrigerator, nothing can really replace the bonds that exist within us. 2 years together in 6 SIR gave us a common history. Hah.

We ate great food and played the game of life. Alcohol was indispensable.

Overall, it was a fantastic night and I hope the guys enjoyed as much as I did. Only downside was that I forgot to take photos. Damn.

Really looking forward to the next gathering!

This week is one of the worst weeks in my life at smu.

Tiredness doesn't even begin to explain it when I'm sleeping a wonderful 3 hrs a night for the past.... err.... can't remember how many nights.

Rushing projects, meeting assignment deadlines. Trying to finish projects before deadline is due so that we can check and recheck and further improve on them. If not for the fact that I'm injured and can't go for training, I'll probably be halfway to heaven by now.

But anyway,

I said hi subtlely to her today across the seminar room and she smiled back at me!
