Simply Amazing

You are doing your business law report with some of your business law classmates, some of whom you only got to know a few months back. Suddenly that email came.

It says, " Join the SMU Travel Club's Amazing Race. Stand to win 4 tickets to HongKong."

You and 3 of your friends were so sian about biz law that time, all just agreed to form a team to join the race. Well, life ain't about studying all the time.

Then the day came for the race. You did no preparation at all, because you didn't bother to. Just a game afterall Other teams printed maps and recced the routes. They sniggered at you for not preparing at all. Well, who cares.

But all the other teams cared that day. About us, that's it.

For out of the blue came 1 team which took the entire fraternity by storm.

My team.

For a record-breaking time of 1 hr and 15 mins, we ran more than 8 km and completed 9 stations.

Never mind that we went to the wrong station at the 2nd pit-stop. Never mind that there was always a team in front of us. Never mind that we lost our station card, and got penalise 15 mins for that. Never mind that we had to climb Fort Canning for the last stop. Never mind all that.

Just remember that we came in first.

We not only won 4 tickets to HongKong. We won friendship admist the hustle and bustle.

Incredible.

This post is dedicated to my great companions: Joel, Eugene Lim, Eugene Tan. We're finally going to HongKong. Just like what we said in Project Room 4.13 on that Monday afternoon.

Late Nights

I think I haven't posted anything for some time.

But then again, when you are at SMU, you never have time to do anything else other then mug, projects and sleep. Oh yea, even sleep have to compromised at times like now...

Just had my dinner not too long ago. That's at 1 am fyi. Damn shagged out now and I am supposed to wake up in 4 hrs time for lesson. Great.

Oh well been burning some nights for Asoc Day. Hope our planning really turns out well. And the whole sub-comm can relax after that.

But the thought of a few more presentations coming up as well as quizzes and exams. Shudders.

Tired now so I'll be off.
