If there is one movie to catch this year, it is definitely Transfomers.

Forget the critics' lament that the story lacks depth or that not many of the characters in the movie (including the Transformers) are developed properly. All these wouldn't matter when the priceless moment arrives: Seeing the transformers turn from good looking vehicles into even better lean mean fighting machines. Seriously, do the critics expect the producer to cramp the whole history of the Transformers into 2 hours or 3 at most?

So if you're going to catch the movie anytime soon, do read up on their background on wikipedia. Awesome source of information of the best cartoon of my generation. If you already know Transformers like the back of your hand, err perhaps the nex best thing to do is to update yourself on the new names and new vehicles the Transformers have taken on now. Bumble Bee is no longer the yellow beetle but a damn cool Chevrolet Camaro. Optimus Prime has more decals on it than before. And Megatron is no longer a handgun.

So make time to catch the best movie of the year so far. Just like the good old days.
