So the penalties jinx has hit England again.

Doomed to their fate when the match ended 0-0 after 120 minutes.

Watching how England play, I was sad, disappointed, disheartened.

A team with so many match winners could not even string passes properly.

The culprit: Mr Sven Goran Eriksson.

Genius who managed to transform a nation that played attractive football into a laborious, dull team.

At least we're not going to see him anymore.

Hopefully this signals the beginning of a new English team. One that can play quality football.

If not, the next World Cup would be like this again...
