From East Coast Park, to Eastern Australia

Ok so I haven't been updating for a long time. Been busy la.

Now that Mock Camp is out of the way, here comes Australia.

Well so news about the Mock Camp first. First off, there were many praises about Mock Camp, how it was all well planned and how things were ran so smoothly. I personally think that programmes team did a great job for Mock Camp but 400 people is going to be way much tougher to handle compared to 80 participants. But I must really give ourselves a pat on our backs for being able to react to rainy weathers and buggy issues (roaches and ants) fast and in an efficient manner. It is just so amazing to see how the human mind works when forced into a corner. Solutions were delivered almost instantaneously.

But this is not the time to rest on our laurels yet. There are still many issues yet to be resolved and the team has to work hard to iron out the issues so that we can deliver a fantastic camp to all runs, and not just runs 2,3 or 4. A repeat of last year's run 1 would have been disastrous. The freshies which included me,were waiting most of the time for something to happen so the programmes team must be more efficient in the actual runs.

But let's put FTB aside for a moment as the boss has declared a one and a half week break for us. And I'm going to the Land of Oz. Melbourne to be exact.

Pretty excited about going to Melbourne as it is my first time there. Well, previous 2 trips to Australia were to Perth, which is not exactly the place to be. Some plans had to be changed as Andrew can only join desmond and I on the 23rd so the SC duo have to do some exploring on our own. Why so sad ah, drewie? Nvm that.

So most things have been settle, besides the tinkering accom which we hope can be resolved by tomorrow. Or rather later in the day.

I'll try to keep here updated about my Aussie trip when I return.
